The EU Taxonomy (EUT) is one of the pillars of the EU Sustainable Finance Action Plan. It is the new legally binding screening standard for sustainable finance products, providing a common framework for defining whether an activity can be considered sustainable thereby eliminating risks of “Greenwashing”. We use the EUT to measure the specific impacts of our clients and their achievement of environmental objectives established by the Paris Agreement, the EU Green Deal.
From 2022, when disclosure will become mandatory, Sustainable Capital Group will only provide our investors with EU Taxonomy aligned opportunities. We ensure that our clients are compliant with the EUT by executing a deep screening of the assessment criteria which we will also complement with our own screening according to our internal standards.
