Real Estate Finance Analyst

We are Sustainable Capital Group, a corporate finance house specialised in sustainability. We assist green financiers, impact investors and organisations in achieving their sustainability and financing objectives. We do this by structuring for ESG, and under the EU Taxonomy and SFDR regulations. We match those groups seeking capital with institutional, Green and Impact investors to ensure long-term value creation and accelerate the net-zero future.

To accomplish our mission, we are looking for an ambitious and driven individual to join our Real Estate team as an Analyst.

Your tasks will include

  • Active involvement across the entire deal cycle of a real estate transaction, from origination and structuring, through to execution;
  • Analysing investment proposals;
  • Real Estate opportunity sourcing across sectors and geographies;
  • Responsible for building cash flow models and conducting other financial analysis;
  • Preparing presentations for clients, including Teasers and full Investment Memoranda
  • Learning from, and supporting, the Sustainability team in performing impact assessments of Real Estate portfolios and in evaluating initial and ongoing compliance with the EU Taxonomy and SFDR;
  • Helping to grow SCG’s investor network by attending conferences and meeting with investors;
  • Taking the lead on client meetings alongside your SCG colleagues.

Your profile

  • Completed a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or Technical studies);
  • At least 3 years of experience in Real Estate finance/investment and/or Corporate Finance;
  • You have an affinity for Real Estate and Sustainability;
  • You are well-rounded, with a strong academic record and involvement in extra-curricular activities;
  • You show exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills;
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English (both oral and written) is a pre-requisite;
  • You are a highly motivated team player with a good work ethic, who is excited to learn about the future of finance in a young, growing and dynamic team
